EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

An important aspect of our community engagement includes offering relevant and useful education to strengthen and improve the practice of law. Since 2015 we have partnered with the private bar and the bench to bring forward-looking technology education to Southern California’s legal community. Led by LevittQuinn board member Cari Pines, LevittQuinn has presented three full-day CLE programs offering cutting-edge education about electronic information, its use in the courtroom, and its relevance in the modern family law office. ACFLS has been a partner in these sessions, sponsoring the MCLE and CFLS credits for the attendees. Attendees include private judges, firm attorneys and support staff, solo practitioners, and legal services/DV program attorneys and staff. In 2020, we also offered a webinar series for self-represented litigants, in partnership with The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, to provide information on changes to family law as a result of COVID-19. We look forward to providing future education sessions.
