Saturday evening, September 27th, LevittQuinn supporters came together to celebrate Standing for Justice. Dan Jaffe and Bruce Clemens received the Outstanding Community Service Award. In their remarks each noted the high quality and big impact of the work of LevittQuinn’s attorneys. Los Angeles’ First Lady Amy Elaine Wakeland spoke from the heart when accepting her award for Humanitarian Service. She shared with the nearly 400 attendees that her mother would have benefited from the services of an organization like LevittQuinn when she was growing up and praised LevittQuinn’s Kids Fund for providing free legal assistance to families facing family law problems impacting the safety and well being of children. City National Bank was recognized as LevittQuinn’s Corporation of the Year and Executive Vice President Gwen Miller highlighted the value of volunteerism in her remarks.
The evening included mobile pledging and an auction, which brought in more than $75,000 over the course of the evening, bringing the grand total raised at the 2014 Stand for Justice Gala to more than $325,000. These funds will make it possible for LevittQuinn to stand next to hundreds of families so that they will not have to stand alone in a family law courtroom.
