WHO WE ARE
LevittQuinn is a unique, private, non-profit family law firm. We offer limited-scope services to people throughout Los Angeles County.
LevittQuinn’s attorneys practice in key areas of family law, including adoption, child and spousal support, custody, visitation, domestic abuse, divorce, and paternity. Each year, LevittQuinn receives thousands of inquiries, gives responsive services to more than 1,900 families, and impacts the lives of over 2,800 children. Our attorneys make hundreds of court appearances on behalf of poor and modest means families throughout the Los Angeles County Superior Court system, the largest trial court in the nation. We prioritize cases where a critical right is at risk.
We provide services in our Echo Park office, as well as in community and videoconference-based clinics throughout Los Angeles County.
Offering clients a sense of hope
Our Programs
Our projects target the unmet needs of our community’s most vulnerable members:
ADOPTION
The Adoption Project is the only one of its kind in Los Angeles County that helps families seeking to protect a child whose biological parent is unwilling or unable to care for the child by providing them with a permanent, loving home through private (non-Dependency) adoption.
THE KIDS FUND
The Kids Fund, established in 2014 to meet the growing community need for free legal services, provides very low-income parents free legal help in family law cases that impact the safety and well-being of minor children including custody, child support, and domestic violence.
THE SHRIVER PROJECT
The Shriver Project, a groundbreaking project created by California’s Sargent Shriver Civil Counsel Act, provides free legal services to low-income families in high-stakes, high-conflict custody cases in which one side is represented by an attorney.
VETERANS
The Veterans Project helps veterans to resolve unsettled family law issues to help remove barriers to employment and housing, thus reducing the risk of homelessness for our veterans.
MODEST MEANS PROJECT
The Modest Means Project allows people who earn too much for traditional legal services but too little to hire private counsel to find the legal help they need. Our sliding scale fee structure makes access to legal services affordable for these modest means families.
BEULAH FUND
The Beulah Fund is a new project we created in 2018 to provide no-cost family law services for seniors or adults with disabilities living at or below 150% of poverty.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We believe that partnering with others is the best way to strengthen the community we serve. Our goal is to provide services where our clients live and work, and to empower them with the information they need to make wise decisions that will lead to long-term stability for their families.
